Michelle joins Victory after 20 years as part of the Marine Underwriting Team at CNA. Michelle has been part of the marine insurance industry since 1988, building a career that spans underwriting, claims, and strategic leadership. With over 35 years of experience, she’s become a respected leader and trusted advisor in the industry. Along the way, she’s served as President of the Marine Insurance Association of BC and acted as liaison to the Canadian Board of Marine Underwriters, contributing to the growth and collaboration of the Canadian marine insurance community.

At the heart of Michelle’s work is her passion for people. Whether mentoring colleagues, building Broker relationships, or fostering industry connections, she believes that connecting with people is the most rewarding part of her profession.

Stephanie Bonkoff brings two decades of expertise in Yacht Underwriting to Victory.

She began her career in 2005 with Pacific Marine Underwriting, building a solid foundation in marine insurance. In 2016, Stephanie joined Coast Underwriters and, by 2020, took on leadership of their busy Yacht team. She expertly navigated the team through Coast’s acquisition by Intact, demonstrating her ability to manage change while upholding operational excellence.

Stephanie earned her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation in 2012, reflecting her ongoing dedication to growth and innovation.

Known for her infectious energy and genuine passion for the industry, Stephanie approaches every client interaction with enthusiasm and care. She’s fun to work with, deeply committed to understanding individual boat owners’ needs, and passionate about ensuring they get the right product tailored perfectly to their vessels.
